Performance Improvement Program Manager

Responsibilities

Partnering with nursing, providers, administration, and all caregivers, the Performance Improvement Project Manager leads and facilitates systems improvement and change management processes
Assures appropriate monitoring structures for quality initiatives and action plans are in place
Reassess quality initiatives and action plans as needed
Works continuously to guarantee successful implementation and long term adoption for initiatives and action plans
Facilitate, coach and advise others regarding process and systems improvement in alignment with the SWSA process improvement team

Lean Six Sigma Green BeltQuality ImprovementProject ManagementHealthcare ExperienceData Support AnalysisEducational Material DevelopmentComputer SkillsLeadership SkillsCommunication Skills

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Communications, Adult Education, Business Administration, Nursing, or other relevant degree
2 years experience working in a quality improvement, data support analyst, and/or project management role required, preferably in a healthcare setting

Preferred

Master's Degree in Business Administration or similar
Upon hire: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
3 years experience directly applying lean techniques and quality problem solving techniques
Experience developing and delivering educational materials in a group setting required
Clinical experience preferred
Requires the demonstrated ability to communicate both orally and in writing
Past experience in Lean, Six-Sigma, or Quality Engineering is a necessity
Understanding of both clinical and non-clinical activities as well as Quality Department experience is preferred
Strong computer skills required with experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Leadership experience in a healthcare setting
Experience with clinic or healthcare QI
