They are seeking a Producer/Shooter/Editor to create compelling long-form digital videos, execute stories from conception to completion, and engage in multimedia storytelling.

Responsibilities

Create compelling, shareable videos in long-form digital formats
Execute stories from conception through completion
Conduct deep research and preproduction on various topics
Edit fast and with flourish using Adobe Creative Suite
Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Pitch, produce, and script video content

Required

5+ years of experience creating video for digital platforms
Proficiency in shooting DSLR cameras with interchangeable lenses / monitoring sound
Proficient with operating a DSLR on a Ronin RS4 Pro
Background in journalism and the ability to pitch, produce, and script
Strong news judgment, good writing skills, knowledge of current events and excellent communication and people skills
Expertise with key productions in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, and familiarity with After Effects.)
Must be aware of latest formats and trends in digital video as a distinct form of content, not TV-related
This candidate must have a strong aesthetic eye and cinematic tendencies
Must enjoy working collaboratively and accurately in a fast paced but fun environment
Attention to detail and journalistic values of accuracy and fairness a must
