Garden Savings Federal Credit Union is seeking a Full-Time Member Service Representative to assist members in achieving their financial goals. The role involves processing financial transactions and providing education and support to members.

Responsibilities

Accurately process financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
Provide a warm welcome and offer financial support to educate our members
Post transactions to members’ accounts
Open, perform maintenance, and close accounts
Assist with audits and other tasks assigned

Required

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to assist members with resolutions promptly and accurately
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Proficient computer/technical skills
Strong customer relationship building skills
High Integrity and a strong work ethic is required
Ability to lift to 50 pounds
Must be able to travel to branches, including Parsippany, NJ for off-site training, and/or meetings as needed
Ability to accurately count cash and handle members' transactions

Preferred

previous banking experience (credit union or bank)
