Responsibilities
Support the promotion and delivery of recreational programs, including after-school activities, teen programs, day camps, youth sports, holiday celebrations, and specialized programs for youth, seniors, and individuals with disabilities
Assist in maintaining parks and recreation facilities to ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized environment
Prepare recreation areas, community rooms, and playing fields for scheduled events, games, or activities
Help decorate facilities and create visual displays that promote community events and programs
Perform routine clerical tasks, such as maintaining equipment and supply inventories, managing check-outs, and organizing storage areas
Carry out light custodial and housekeeping duties, including setting up furniture, cleaning tables and equipment, and keeping workspaces tidy
Assist with the opening and closing of park facilities and amenities
Participate in staff training sessions, workshops, and meetings to enhance professional skills and program knowledge
Perform other related duties as assigned
