GNA Maintenance Tech/Cleaner
Brigs, LLC is a growing company focused on maintaining a positive work environment and core values. The Maintenance Technician/Cleaner is responsible for routine cleaning and general maintenance to ensure the property remains clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests.

Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and staff, maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times
Perform daily cleaning of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, laundry rooms, and restrooms
Remove trash and recycling from common areas and ensure proper disposal
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as:
Replacing light bulbs and fixtures in common areas
Minor painting and touch-ups
Basic repairs (e.g., door handles, minor plumbing, unclogging drains)
Cleaning windows, doors, and floors
Inspecting and reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the Property Manager
Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, salting/sanding walkways, and installing/removing seasonal fixtures
Maintain and clean maintenance utility rooms and ensure supplies are stocked and organized
Monitor move-ins and move-outs, ensuring common areas remain clean and undamaged
Maintain a log of work performed and report completed tasks and outstanding issues to the Property Manager
Assist with minor landscaping tasks such as picking up debris, watering plants, and maintaining exterior cleanliness
Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed and be available for on-call duties as scheduled
Be present on-site during scheduled working hours, except when performing work-related off-site tasks
Advise the Property Manager of any absences or schedule changes
Maintain all equipment and tools in good working order
Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required
Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager
Qualification
Required
Basic knowledge of maintenance trades such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or painting is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a professional demeanor
Must be trustworthy, reliable, and able to provide excellent character references
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
Preferred
Experience in general maintenance, cleaning, or a related field preferred
Valid driver's license and safe driving record preferred
Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
