Responsibilities

Lead, coach and have direct accountability for the CAM Quality team
Be accountable for the direction, planning and execution of the CAM quality strategy
Embody and enhance a culture of quality within the CAM organization
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with CAG OE and ACC Quality Directors, enhancing Commercial Aircraft’s overall culture of quality
Develop risk abatement strategies to effectively support business commitments with a focus on error prevention and continually improved product/service quality
Understand the broader CAM business to best contribute to the division’s success
Advance Lean strategies that align with Aftermarket quality, on-time customer delivery commitments and cost control strategies
Be accountable for CAM’s Safety Management Systems (SMS), ensuring compliance and response SMS in place
Develop the organizational knowledge in the application of the standards and regulations through effective education and training programs
Provide leadership and build relationships to create quality-minded attitudes and commitment across the Aftermarket division
Represent CAM as part of a Quality Council to promote regulatory requirement, ensure effective look across activities are taking place, and best practices continue to be advanced
Establish and grow an executive network within Moog and ensure leaders within CAM organization stay connected on quality related activities
Lead the development of a vision/Quality framework that strategically addresses present and future needs and directions. Ensuring quality solutions and initiatives are fully integrated with the CAM’s business objectives, priorities, strategies, and mission

Lead the strategic development and deployment of Zero Defects / Quality First. Develop and deploy a coherent Culture of Quality brand that is consistent with the Quality policy and drives behavior change and increased awareness, engagement and accountability. Ensure that process, policies and procedures are in place and consequently risks are identified, mitigated and controlled to provide protection to the customer and to Moog
Develop risk abatement strategies to effectively support long term customer quality with a focus on continually improved product/service quality. Establish customer focused quality processes, standard work and effective metrics for core quality processes in alignment with customer and regulatory requirements. Responsible for CAM regulatory functions and interfaces with external agencies and customers
Develop a framework to monitor and analyze regulatory, customer and industry trends and evolve the CAM quality strategy to establish proactive processes and policies to negate or minimize impact to Moog and customers

Required

A relevant BS degree in Engineering / Production / Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
Knowledge and understanding of aerospace quality standards, Aviation Regulations (FAA, CAA UK, EASA, CAAC, etc.) and Industry Standards (AS9100, ISO9001, etc.)
Relevant industry experience is required. You must be able to demonstrate an appropriate balance of strong regulatory leadership and practical business application
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a senior management role
Strong communication skills in the form of written, verbal and formal presentations
Ability to effectively communicate with, and influence, Group staff across disciplines and Moog customers
Demonstrated knowledge and a track record of continuous improvement, APQP and Lean
Sound working knowledge of Moog products and manufacturing processes
