Responsibilities

Leads a team of bilingual communications coordinators and provides necessary support
Performs written and verbal translations related to software development
Performs written and verbal translations related to software development, including bug logs, daily correspondence, design documents, market research and white paper testing documents
Identifies, documents, and analyzes areas for efficiency improvements (group and department)
Monitors and evaluates team metrics and assists in forecasting future department needs and priorities
Ensures compliance with department and company policies and procedures
Actively engages in ongoing process improvement and drives innovations as well as personal development
Develops, maintains, and administers feedback and monitoring programs for staff
Observes daily workflow and initiates action-driven conversations with Supervisor for process improvement

Required

Five years experience translating and interpreting Japanese/English
Minimum of 2 years experience in leading a bilingual team
Strong leadership skills and organizational skills
Strong communication, problem solving and cross-group collaboration skills
Thorough knowledge of Japanese culture and business protocol
Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
Thorough knowledge of Nintendo products
Strong PC skills (MS office suite, test management software,) and ability to easily learn new programs
Requires advanced skills and expertise in a variety of work processes or activities typically gained through a combination of training and considerable on-the-job experience
Requires advanced skills and expertise in a range of processes, procedures, systems, or tasks; may require specialized expertise in a specific area to perform the most complex work
Undergraduate degree in International Marketing, International Business, International Relations, Japanese/English Literature or equivalent
Exceptional Japanese and English written and verbal communication skills (both at native fluency)
