Electrical Design Engineer, Test Equipment

As an Electrical Design Engineer, Test Equipment, you will be responsible for the design and development of hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical, servo-mechanism, and electro-pneumatic components and systems used to test products for military, commercial, and space vehicles.

Responsibilities
Operate as key element in a team of creative, independent individuals
Contribute to the development of new test equipment through consulting with internal customers
Validate conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analyses
Integrate electronic components into higher level systems and test completed designs
Prepare, support, and guide the work of Assembly and Test technicians supporting your development activities
Contribute on work estimates for design and development efforts
Maintain engineering records, changes made and effects of changes on performance
Independently initiate and perform specialized research
Create reliable designs through a comprehensive experimental development test program
Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports
Shares values of 'teamwork is a must' and thus good communication is key
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 5 years' relevant technical experience OR Master of Science Degree in Engineering with 3 Years' relevant technical experience
Self-motivated, critical thinking and strong analytical skills
Due to involvement with certain military programs, US citizenship is required
Preferred
DOORS experience a plus
