Responsibilities

Coordinate and drive supplier and part qualifications; Track and monitor scorecards of supplier performances. Assign Corrective and Preventative Actions to improve supplier performances
Coordinates process improvements, non-conforming material dispositions, corrective actions, and surveillance auditing with suppliers; Facilitate the Quality Wins program for ELSP site (including team trainings, process changes, and system implementations.)
Maintain and manage QMS documentation repository; Understand and be accountable for manufacturing metrics that pertain to the group (HSE, Quality, Service and Cost-out.)
Drive efforts to support and meet production schedules, including productivity, quality and lean manufacturing initiative; Take responsibility for continuous improvement of production operations including safety, scheduling, quality, lean and training/development in assigned areas

Required

Bachelor degree in a technical field or engineering discipline PLUS minimum 1 year quality control experience OR Associate degree in a technical discipline PLUS minimum 3 years quality control experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Proficiency in measurement tools (meters, calipers, gauges, etc.)
Demonstrate understanding of quality procedures and concepts
Demonstrated lean manufacturing participation; Demonstrated HSE participation and support
Must have the flexibility to rotate and flex to any area of production, as needed
Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
