They are seeking a highly skilled Simulation, Virtual, Constructive, and Gaming (VCG) Developer to research, design, and develop software and simulation systems that support synthetic training environments.

Responsibilities
Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs for simulation and training systems
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions using principles of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis
Update and enhance existing software capabilities to meet evolving requirements
Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with sensing systems, tracking systems, imaging systems, and haptic devices
Maintain databases within application areas and coordinate database development as needed
Design, implement, and debug software to deliver high-fidelity simulations and immersive experiences
Produce graphical experiences compatible with mobile devices and AR/VR headsets
Identify and evaluate new engineering tools, environments, technologies, and methodologies to enhance system capabilities
Develop Modeling & Simulation (M&S) analytical reports to inform tactical and strategic decision-making
Utilize simulation tools to analyze system alternatives to optimize mission effectiveness, survivability, and cost
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred)
Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, C#, Python, or similar
At least 5 years of experience with simulation environments, gaming engines, or AR/VR development tools
Knowledge of database management, software integration, and system debugging
Familiarity with modeling and simulation (M&S) techniques and tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
