Responsibilities

Establish and maintain Scrum practices, facilitating understanding of Scrum theory and practice within the Scrum Team and the organization

Remove impediments to the Team’s progress and ensure all Scrum events take place, are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox

Coach Teams in self-management, cross-functionality, and help focus on creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done

Facilitate stakeholder collaboration, support Product Owners in backlog management and empirical product planning, and help the organization adopt an empirical approach for complex work

Mentor less experienced Scrum Leaders and help teams reach high performance by employing coaching and development techniques

Required

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience

6-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably with technical background and experience as a Scrum Master for software development teams on large initiatives

Knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum, SAFe, XP, Kanban, and Spotify, with experience in Agile techniques such as User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, and Agile Games

Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence, strong communication and mentoring skills, and ability to drive change and consensus across multiple stakeholders
