Responsibilities
Research, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including product manuals, specifications, installation guides, datasheets, internal procedures, and compliance documentation where appropriate
Translate complex technical information from engineers and subject matter experts into clear, accurate, and engaging content for varied audiences
Work cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to ensure consistency and accuracy across all documentation
Create visuals, diagrams, and infographics in collaboration with the design team to enhance comprehension
Manage version control and document repositories to ensure the latest content is always accessible
Approach writing and content creation as a problem-solving activity, proposing improvements to how information is structured and delivered
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, English, or a related field
3–5 years of experience writing technical documentation in engineering, energy, or related technology fields
Strong ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects with minimal supervision
Proven experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and image editing software
Ability to work remotely and interface through online communication tools
Familiarity with energy generation systems, grid infrastructure, data center technologies, and gensets
Experience interpreting technical drawings, schematics, or system diagrams
Knowledge of industry standards and certifications (e.g., UL, IEEE, ISO)
Self-starter: Able to take ownership of projects and see them through with minimal direction
Problem-solver: Comfortable tackling ambiguity and developing creative solutions
Flexible and adaptable: Thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment with shifting priorities
