Senior Architect

Responsibilities

Leads conceptual design for various types of facilities
Determine collectively with multiple design disciplines, the technical approach and design criteria for projects
Lead and coach junior architectural staff
Perform independent investigations, studies, and architectural analysis
Develop design details, plans, and writing specifications
Serve as quality control reviewer
Contribute new designs or techniques which are of material significance in the solution of important problems
Remain current in codes and technologies appropriate to the architecture discipline including IBC, NFPA, etc
Ensure conformance with standards, established architectural practices, applicable codes, and technical adequacy of design and construction
Participate in meetings with clients to discuss project scope and progress
Participate in presentations to clients and other key stakeholders
Assist with developing technical proposals and cost proposals
Assist in developing project schedules and responsible for monitoring and reporting related to deliverable progress, schedule, and budget status

Qualification

Professional Degree in ArchitectureRevit ArchitectureBIM 360Professional RegistrationAutoCADTechnical detailingLeadershipPresentation skillsTeamworkProblem solving

Required

Professional Degree in Architecture (B. Arch or M. Arch preferred)
Minimum of 15 years of experience as a project architect working within numerous market sectors, with specific emphasis on mass transit desired
Experience with leading multidisciplinary teams from conceptual design through construction documentation
Professional Registration is highly desirable
Extensive professional Revit Architecture and BIM 360 experience required
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite are required
Excellent design, technical detailing and strong presentation skills, both verbal and visual, are indispensable

Preferred

Autodesk products, Enscape, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite experience are a plus
LEED Accreditation is also a plus
