Senior Systems Engineer (Modeling, Simulation, Vulnerability Analysis)

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with architects and designers to develop innovative solutions for security modeling and analyze vulnerabilities in complex systems.

Responsibilities
Design and maintain requirements, architectures, and system designs for complex technical systems, with a focus on modeling and simulation
Extend and adapt existing system designs to address new use cases and evolving requirements
Develop and support model-based systems engineering (MBSE) artifacts across a diverse portfolio of products and applications
Lead the expansion and elaboration of key system design elements, ensuring alignment with customer needs and security objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system functions, requirements, and design elements for optimal performance in constrained technical environments
Decompose complex systems into manageable components for further analysis, development, and vulnerability assessment
Support the full project lifecycle, from planning and implementation to operational readiness, with a focus on system security and resilience
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field with 10+ years of experience, or a master's degree in a related field with 7+ years of experience
Strong background in modeling and simulation of complex systems
Experience in vulnerability analysis and system decomposition
Proven ability to lead technical discussions and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience developing and maintaining requirements baselines throughout the product lifecycle
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills
Preferred
Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies
Familiarity with SysML diagramming tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, IBM Rhapsody)
Experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and/or Unified Architectural Framework (UAF)
Experience with embedded systems, microelectronics, FPGA, or circuit card design
Programming experience in MATLAB, Python, C++, or other object-oriented languages
Experience supporting DoD programs
Active Top-Secret Clearance
