Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all phases of municipal civil litigation land use cases, from inception through trial and all appeals using a team approach
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and depositions
Develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice to clients
Qualification
Required
Strong background in civil litigation
Experience in zoning, platting, and municipal land use
Excellent analytical skills
Commitment to delivering exceptional client service
Primary responsibility for first chair defense of municipalities involving land use taking and civil rights claims
Experience seeking injunctive relief for substandard structures and zoning violations
Heavy involvement in federal courts and all courts of appeal
Ability to manage and oversee all phases of municipal civil litigation land use cases from inception through trial and all appeals
