Responsibilities
Perform technical analysis, design, and traffic engineering tasks for a wide range of transportation infrastructure, highway, and land development projects
Lead, develop, assist with, and review traffic impact studies, highway occupancy permits, specifications, signal design and plans, maintenance and protection of traffic and signing plans, PS&E packages, and reports
May oversee work of junior engineers and technical staff
Communicate and collaborate with design teams and clients
Assist project managers in the development of proposals, scope of works, fee, and cost estimates
Perform additional responsibilities as required by senior leadership and overall business needs
Qualification
Required
Perform technical analysis, design, and traffic engineering tasks for a wide range of transportation infrastructure, highway, and land development projects
Lead, develop, assist with, and review traffic impact studies, highway occupancy permits, specifications, signal design and plans, maintenance and protection of traffic and signing plans, PS&E packages, and reports

The candidate will utilize and should have knowledge of and experience with software packages such as Synchro, Tru-Traffic, Vistro, VISSIM, Petra, HCS, Sidra, HSM, MicroStation, AutoCAD, AutoTURN, and Guidesign
Degree Required: BS Civil Engineering – with a Transportation Engineering concentration
Licenses required: Professional Engineer
Preferred
PTOE certification preferred but not required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Team player with the ability to work independently and with others on multiple projects to meet multiple deadlines
Working knowledge of appropriate Federal Highway Administration, AASHTO, PennDOT, and other relevant guidelines, including the MUTCD
