LHH is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will lead a maintenance team and direct all maintenance activities across the manufacturing facility, focusing on preventative maintenance and capital projects.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all activities of the maintenance personnel across your assigned shift as they repair, install, and update equipment within the facility

Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team as they inspect, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain plant equipment

Create and implement preventative maintenance initiatives, improve uptime, and decrease equipment errors/downtime

Assist with the strategic vision of the department, develop plans and budgets, complete staff scheduling, and conduct training

Lead and complete various capital projects

Inspect facilities periodically to identify problems and create weekly maintenance schedules so work can be allocated

Serve as a valuable member of the leadership team and develop the maintenance budget

Monitor the inventory of materials, replacement parts, and equipment

Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations

Be on the floor to assist with the team whenever the need arises
