PM Planner Mechanical

Responsibilities
You develop, update, and manage PM schedules for all plant equipment (Mixers, Mills, Calendars, Extruders, Bead section equipment, etc.)
You utilize CMMS/EAM software (SAP PM, Maximo, Infor) to create and monitor PM tasks
You ensure OEM recommendations, reliability studies, and plant experience are built into the PM program
You prepare weekly and monthly PM plans aligned with production schedules
You plan resources (manpower, tools, spares, consumables) for each PM activity
You work closely with production, maintenance supervisors, and stores to schedule PM activities with minimal production loss
You issue daily/weekly PM job lists and follow up on completion
You ensure execution quality by checking adherence to PM checklists and SOPs
You track and verify closeout of PM tasks with proper documentation
You coordinate with stores to ensure spare parts availability before PM execution
You analyze PM findings and breakdown histories to refine PM frequency and scope
You support condition monitoring activities (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, etc.)
You recommend and implement engineering solutions to recurring problems
You assist in root cause analysis (RCA) of chronic failures and incorporate learnings into PM
You maintain updated PM checklists, SOPs, drawings, and equipment manuals
You ensure compliance with ISO, IATF, EHS, and corporate standards
You generate PM compliance reports (daily/weekly/monthly KPIs)
You track and report PM completion %, MTBF, MTTR, and breakdown hours
You align PM schedules with production plans
You ensure work orders are executed as per plan with the maintenance team
You coordinate with stores and procurement for spares and consumables
You provide feedback to engineering projects on equipment reliability and modifications
You ensure machine safety compliance and quality impact with Quality & EHS teams
Qualification
Required
You hold a B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
You bring 5–7 years of experience in maintenance planning/reliability engineering in tire manufacturing or heavy process industries
You have strong knowledge of mechanical systems and basic electrical systems
You are proficient in PM planning tools and CMMS systems
You understand TPM, RCM, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Maintenance practices
You demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills
