They are seeking an experienced Engineering Projects Leader to manage custom-engineered projects in an Engineer-to-Order manufacturing environment, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery while engaging with customers and leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead teams across project management, project planning, and project engineering to deliver ETO projects on time, within scope, and on budget
Serve as the primary technical and project liaison with customers, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and met throughout the project lifecycle
Manage engineering changes and scope adjustments, balancing customer needs with internal capabilities and cost implications so that customer expectations are aligned and satisfaction is achieved
Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies
Ensure customer needs are met throughout collaborative activities with systems and fabrication engineering, operations, and sales to ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and manufacturability
Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial targets are achieved
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the ETO process to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, margin analysis, and performance metrics

Required

Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
7+ years of experience in engineering project management in a manufacturing environment
