The State of Missouri is seeking an Administrative Intern for their Information Systems Help Desk. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in end user support, software and hardware troubleshooting, and Help Desk ticket management while working under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

Prepare desktops and laptops: Base image machines, identify software needs, install the necessary software, and set up at the user's desk

Phone support: Respond to user questions and provide hardware and software support using remote control tools

On-site support: Work alongside experienced staff to provide face-to-face and on-site support

Tickets: Handle tickets submitted to the Help Desk, perform troubleshooting and resolve issues

Inventory management: Use our Asset Management System to manage and document any changes in our inventory. Scrub machines and prepare for the surplus process

Required

Currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor's or post-bachelor's degree program full-time (12+ credit hours)

30 credit hours completed/accepted toward current degree program. High school or other postsecondary program credits must be shown to be accepted by the current program through a degree transcript to apply

Possess and maintain an overall GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0, or equivalent
