Verità Telecommunications Corporation is seeking a Field Surveyor to assist in the preparation of detailed construction prints and securing permits for fiber optic systems. The role involves collecting data from routes where systems will be built, using both manual and sophisticated measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for walking the system (3-5 miles per day) and capturing data that is transmitted to Veritas’s Mapping and Permitting Group

Data is captured via pencil and paper and via the deployment of both simple and sophisticated measuring equipment

Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualification

Measuring spatial relationshipsReading schematicsReading technical drawingsInterpersonal skillsCommunication skills

Required

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent

Prior experience reading schematics and technical drawings a plus

Adept at measuring spatial relationships

Adept at reading schematics

Adept at reading technical drawings

Able to walk 3-5 miles in all-weather conditions

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

Willing to be challenged and learn in a dynamic environment
