Responsibilities

Assist in the investigation and design of earthen structures and roadways
Collect and help interpret data through research, file reviews, field observations and measurements, field testing, and other methods
Assist in preparing detailed plans, technical specifications, and reports
Perform computations and process data using computer software or other established methods
Observe and document field activities and prepare construction documentation reports
Assist in preparing cost estimates for design implementation
Perform site inspections under the supervision of senior engineers
Demonstrate strong technical writing and communication skills

Qualification

Geotechnical engineeringCivil engineeringCADTechnical writingCalculation skillsCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited Institution with a focus on geotechnical engineering
2-5 years of relevant work experience
Demonstrate strong technical writing and communication skills

Preferred

CAD experience a plus
Strong calculation skills preferred
The ability to interpret work plans
