Responsibilities
Research, develop, design, and prototype electronic circuit designs and electrical components for active medical implant technology
Conduct circuit design, simulation, and PCB layout, creating detailed assembly drawings, schematics, and related design documents, including risk analyses (dFMEA and Hazard Analysis)
Perform circuit and system verification testing, develop and implement verification and validation testing plans and procedures, and analyze test data to ensure compliance with performance specifications and regulatory standards
Work closely with Software, Mechanical, Firmware, Systems, Quality, and Clinical engineers to debug and troubleshoot issues throughout the product lifecycle
Prepare and translate design documentation for cross-functional use outside of Electrical Engineering
Innovate design solutions and tools to enhance engineering performance and efficiency
Plan Design of Experiments, test fixtures, and test programs to compile and analyze operational and research data
Qualification
Required
BS/MSEE in Electrical Engineering and/or a related field
Experience in electronic analog and digital hardware design and documentation
Minimum 5 years of experience
Must be self-directed and capable of leading multiple projects
Preferred
RF and/or AC magnetic systems experience a plus
Medical device development under an FDA compliant quality system a plus, or other experience with design in a regulated industry
Benefits
