They are seeking a Senior Associate for their Regulatory Administration team to provide client support and expertise in investment law, analyze legislation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Report on and make recommendations around legislation while providing client support as a subject matter expert in a particular area of investment law
Provide clients with materials required by the SEC along with materials for board meetings to address specific legislative issues
Specialize in analyzing and reporting on a specific area of legislation and provide guidance on implementing controls that meet regulatory requirements
Deliver quarterly newsletters and ad hoc news alerts in your field of expertise
Perform calculations needed to answer regulatory questions on behalf of more complex clients
Collaborate with clients’ accounting firms to exchange client information and complex data needed for regulatory matters
Participate in client board meetings and act as a subject matter expert
Provide guidance to less experienced colleagues as needed and contribute to the achievement of related team objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
5-7 years of experience preferred
No direct people leadership responsibilities
Preferred
JD from an accredited law school preferred
Experience in the securities or financial services industry preferred
