Strategic Account Manager- Electrical

Graybar Electric Company is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to develop and implement strategies for increasing sales and profits with potential new strategic customers. The role involves targeting new Corporate Account customers, coordinating customer needs, and developing key relationships with assigned accounts.

Target and aggressively pursue new Corporate Account customers
Coordinate needs of specific customers
Coordinate activities with key suppliers
Identify opportunities at assigned potential accounts, and communicate those opportunities to appropriate employees
Transition new accounts to Business Management
Develop key relationships with assigned accounts

Qualification

Required

Minimum 5 years experience in progressively more responsible sales, marketing, and/or operating experience required
Experience with sales, marketing, and operating processes
Knowledge of financial analysis methods and techniques; pricing strategies and techniques
Knowledge of SAP
Negotiation skills
Ability to make oral and written presentations to audiences of different sizes and varied backgrounds
Ability to think strategically
Ability to execute plans on time, on budget, and achieve successful results
Extensive travel required

Preferred

Previous Account Representative experience preferred
4 year degree preferred
