Responsibilities
Analyze financial statements, collateral, and industry data to evaluate large commercial loans
Underwrite new and renewal loans while reviewing existing portfolios for credit risk
Spread and interpret income statements and balance sheets for efficient portfolio management
Assist in training junior credit analysts
Contribute to special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, cash, tax-based) and financial statement analysis
Knowledge of loan policies, regulations, grading, and documentation procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and core banking software
Preferred
Minimum 3 years experience in credit analysis, loan review, or commercial banking preferred
MBA a plus
