Responsibilities

Planning and performing inspections, examinations and testing associated with the receipt and dedication of purchased material
Performing inspections by methodically evaluating the validity and acceptability of inspection, examination, and test results to satisfy technical and quality requirements of purchased parts and material
Providing oversight capability for the receipt inspection office and provide technical support to Stores management
Supervising or maintaining surveillance over the inspections, examinations, and tests for training of lower-level personnel
Performing warehousing functions as required

ANSI N45.2.6 CertificationNuclear Quality RequirementsInventory Control SoftwareMRO Materials ExperienceCommunication Skills

Required

High school graduate or a GED equivalent to a high school diploma
Three years of related experience in equivalent inspection, examination, testing, or equivalent activities, OR Associate or bachelor's degree in a related discipline
Ten years of relevant nuclear experience in quality, warehousing, accounting, materials, contracts, maintenance, project management and engineering
Qualified/Certified ANSI N45.2.6 Level I, II or III
Knowledge of Inventory and Material Control software systems
Minimum of 1 year of established performance as an ANSI Level II inspector in the materials discipline or 6 years related maintenance or inspection activity
Applied MRO materials experience by discipline, craft, and manufacturer
Knowledge of nuclear and other regulatory quality requirements
Ability to effectively work and communicate with others in the organization including good oral and written communication skills
