Lodge Development Specialist
Masonic Homes of California is dedicated to fostering personal growth and community well-being. The Lodge Development Specialist supports the growth and expansion of Freemasonry by assisting in the formation of new lodges, providing hands-on support, and facilitating planning meetings and workshops.
Non-profit Organization Management
Responsibilities
Provide hands-on support to emerging lodges in the assigned region throughout the formation process
Facilitate planning meetings and workshops both virtually and in person
Guide and monitor the successful creation of 5–10 new lodges annually
Serve as a resource and motivator for members, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and practices
Collaborate with the New Lodge Development Manager to track progress and address challenges in lodge development
Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing membership organizations
Represent the Grand Lodge of California with professionalism and integrity at all times
Qualification
Required
Experience in community development or organizational growth
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Flexibility to travel frequently within the assigned region
Availability to work evenings and weekends
Knowledge of laws and regulations governing membership organizations
Professional demeanor and integrity in representing the organization
