SolveNow is seeking a Staff Transmission Line Engineer to support their expanding operations. This role involves designing high-voltage transmission lines, developing construction packages, and providing technical support during field activities.

Responsibilities

Design high- and extra-high-voltage (69500 kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD

Develop detailed construction packages, including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation assembly drawings

Prepare project specifications and design criteria documents

Provide technical support and oversight during field construction activities

Foster and maintain strong client relationships while offering technical mentorship to junior engineers

Contribute to the advancement of design standards and best practices within the team

Support other engineering tasks as required

Occasional travel to project or client sites may be necessary

Required

Bachelors degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, or a Bachelors in Engineering Technology with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam

A Masters degree in Civil Engineering may substitute for one year of professional experience

Minimum 3 years of transmission line design experience

Proficient in written and verbal communication, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Experience with project scheduling and budgeting

Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
