Roux is seeking a responsible, self-sufficient, energetic Environmental Technician to perform field tasks associated with project sites. The role involves the operation and maintenance of remediation systems and sampling of environmental media, primarily in New England.

Responsibilities

Assistance with site remediation system operations and maintenance activities

Inspecting system equipment to evaluate remedial system performance and identify potential malfunctions

Performing maintenance on system components to ensure or restore proper operation and compliance

Collecting samples from monitoring wells and recovery wells

Collecting stormwater samples

Collecting soil and soil gas samples

Collecting, recording, and evaluating system performance data

Oversight and supervision of subcontractors involved in environmental remediation and system maintenance and repairs

Willingness to support the project team to service clients and complete projects on time and on budget

Ability to perform physical labor, including the ability to physically move around outdoors in various terrains, occasionally lift and carry objects and equipment, and climb ladders to access areas

Use of a personal vehicle and valid driver's license to travel between worksites (note: a Company vehicle may be available for use)

Field work year-round, most of which is outdoors
