Responsibilities

Deliver compelling product demonstrations to prospective and existing clients, showcasing the value and capabilities of EA’s Gas & Power and LNG research and data services
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within both new and existing client accounts, with a particular focus on gas and power trading desks, and utilities in the USA and Europe
Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and refine commercial collateral, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and market needs
Own the new client development portfolio for gas and power trading desks and utilities, building and nurturing relationships to drive revenue growth
Work closely with internal teams, including Product, Marketing, and Research, to ensure seamless delivery of client solutions and to support cross-team sales initiatives
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform sales strategy and product positioning
Provide regular updates and insights to the Head of Global Strategic Sales on pipeline development, client feedback, and market opportunities

Required

Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the energy, utilities, or financial services sectors
Demonstrable success in developing new business and managing complex sales cycles
Experience selling into gas and/or power trading desks, or utilities, is highly desirable
Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
Experience working cross-functionally and across teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Willingness to travel as required, primarily within the USA and Europe

Preferred

Familiarity with gas, power, or LNG markets, data analytics, or financial intelligence products
Experience supporting marketing initiatives and developing sales collateral
Understanding of the energy transition and its impact on gas and power markets
