The Interconnection Services Intern will report to an experienced Engineer and be exposed to exciting projects building valuable industry knowledge
Throughout your internship, you will develop skills to advance professionally and academically
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Experience with automation tools and frameworks, which can streamline data processing and reporting workflows
Building static and dynamic power system models including new technologies, such as inverters, wind turbines, or storage systems which may require interaction with equipment vendors to determine the appropriate parameters
Experience with any types of power system software and their APIs (e.g. PSSE, TARA, PSSE, PowerWorld, PSCAD, etc) would be considered a plus
Background in power systems tools a plus (TARA, PSSE, PowerWorld, PSCAD, etc)
