Responsibilities
Complete roadway design plans with limited supervision
Work alone and in small groups
Use MicroStation and Inroads/Openroads software
Assist engineers and designers in the development and production of engineering plans and specifications on a variety of transportation projects
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with familiarity with Microsoft Products such as Excel and Outlook
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering
5+ years of previous roadway design or other transportation engineering experience
GA PE license required (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with familiarity with Microsoft Products such as Excel and Outlook
Must be willing to travel on occasion
Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver's license prior to employment
Preferred
Knowledge of Microstation and Inroads/Openroads software a plus
GDOT and/or Municipal experience preferred
