Specialist, Integration & Test Engineer (Test Director)

The Integration & Test Engineering Specialist will support the design, development, test, and integration of complex hardware/software systems on ISR platforms.
Responsibilities
Interface with other Systems Engineering, Flight Line Test, Product Development, and Project Engineering personnel to understand new baseline functionality
Plan and execute integration testing in a Systems Integration Laboratory and on airborne and ground-based platforms
Verify and validate new baseline functionality while ensuring legacy functionality still works as intended
Follow existing standards to document system testing status and anomalies with the system hardware and software
Verify fix to anomalies
Interface with customer personnel to ensure their satisfaction with system performance
Work with management to develop and adhere to schedules and budgets required to accomplish assigned work
Provide regular status updates for ongoing work efforts to keep management and customers informed
Self-starting & able to work effectively in an independent & team environment
Must possess excellent organization, communications, and presentation skills
Considerable Systems or Software Engineering experience with System Interfaces
Work with customers, systems engineers & architects to meet delivery requirements
Strong written and verbal communication abilities are essential
Travel as needed (10% travel expected)
Provide support regularly during ground and test flight events
Understand, write, and implement systems test plans and procedures
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree with four (4) years of Hands-on experience with RC-135 Operator and Communications interfaces
Graduate Degree with two (2) years of Hands-on experience with RC-135 Operator and Communications interfaces
In lieu of a degree, minimum of eight (8) years of Hands-on experience with RC-135 Operator and Communications interfaces
Must be able to successfully pass a Class-III Flight Physical
Must have an Active Secret clearance at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret with SCI
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred
Experience with IBM DOORS Requirements Management Tool
Former flying experience supporting RC-135 operations
Successfully pass a Class III Flight Physical
