Responsibilities
Work within a fabrication and completed part assembly environment
Gain experience with composite layups, fabrication, testing, and completion of advanced materials
Fabrication techniques will include dry & wet layups of composite laminates, vacuum bag, and curing
Familiarity with large oven and autoclave preparation and curing is desired, including trims, cuts, and vacuum bags in preparation for curing
Work to engineering specifications, procedures, and drawings
Measure and inspect produced parts using various inspection and test methods
Use a methodical and precise approach to ensure successful completion of production tasks on highly sensitive and high value hardware
Qualification
Required
High school diploma
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Experience in a hands-on fabrication or manufacturing environment
Previous experience in composite layups, fabrication, and testing
Experience with dry & wet layups of composite laminates
Familiarity with large oven and autoclave preparation and curing
Experience following engineering specifications and procedures
Experience reading engineering drawings
