Responsibilities

Collaborates with and receives mentorship from experienced Field Service Technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing cutting-edge Sharp equipment within a designated territory
Resolve at least 85% of service calls independently post-training, striving for mastery in equipment maintenance
Conducts mechanical and electronic adjustments on equipment as per Technical Service Manual and Field Engineering Bulletins
Interprets schematics and conducts electrical troubleshooting, including our complete digital product line
Handles customer relations independently, escalating complex situations as necessary
Manages parts inventory efficiently to support smooth operations
Completes administrative tasks promptly and accurately
Collaborates with colleagues and management to achieve service goals and maintain a positive work environment
Reports equipment performance issues to the Branch Field Service Manager and any steps you have taken to resolve them
Assists with additional duties as assigned by the Branch Field Service Manager

Qualification

Comptia A+ certificationMechanical aptitudeElectronics knowledgeWindows knowledgeMicrosoft Office knowledgeCommunication skills

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent mandatory
Must possess or achieve Comptia A+ certification within one (1) year of hire
Must possess strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude
Must successfully complete Sharp equipment pre-testing and training
Valid Drivers License, and Automobile insurance within company guidelines

Preferred

Technical vocational schooling desirable (electronics or electro-mechanical preferred), or experience in copier repair or repair and maintenance of electronic equipment
Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software products preferred
