Responsibilities

Oversight of and participation in preparation of civil project construction documents (plans, specifications, technical narratives, calculations)

Potential for stamping and sealing of project construction documents pending level of experience and project requirements

Participation in quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) reviews for Merrick peers and third-party entities

Management of civil project-level design teams (supervision, scheduling, task management, budget tracking)

Potential for management of direct staff reports pending level of experience and team needs

Grading and earthworks using Autodesk Civil3D

Infrastructure design and analysis for:

Stormwater drainage

Sanitary sewer

Pressurized water distribution

Natural gas

Site fencing and security

Communications and electrical duct banks

Site layout, roadway, and parking lot design

Modeling and analysis

Technical writing

Specification preparation

Familiarity with code requirements
