Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of incoming cash and reconciliations, ensuring accurate records and collaborating with teams to resolve payment disputes.

Responsibilities

Record incoming payments and transfers
Monitor employer group payment bank account
Process credit memos, adjustments, and refunds as needed
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve invoice or payment disputes
Maintain detailed and organized records of all AR transactions
Assist with month-end closing activities, including AR reporting and reconciliations
Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations
Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize AR efficiency

Required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
