2+ years expChallenge Manufacturing is a leading tier 1 supplier of complex metal assemblies for the global automotive industry. They are seeking a CNC Operator responsible for programming, setup, and operating CNC machines to produce parts that meet specific dimensional specifications.

Responsibilities
Responsible for Computer Numerically Controlled machines (i.e. generate, edit, troubleshoot and verify CNC Programs) utilizing CNC technology by means of programming, setup, and operating a CNC machine
Operate a CNC machine to produce parts, all of which must meet the dimensional specifications of the mechanical engineered drawing
Inspect, verify and replace as needed tooling utilized in the CNC work center
Calculate, record and enter into the control the appropriate offsets for each tool
Maintain the appropriate production records in Plexus
Maintain the appropriate maintenance records in Plexus
Perform general (i.e. routine) maintenance of the equipment fluid levels and lubrication points
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent, some college or technical school preferred
Must have a minimum of two years' work experience as a CNC Programmer or Machinist / Operator
Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred
Mastercam Programming preferred
Tool and Die experience or training strongly preferred
