Responsibilities
Participate in software development and integration efforts supporting JECS modernization, particularly UI and backend interfaces between JECS and JTT
Support integration of JAWS (JLVC Analysis WorkStation) functionality into the JTT Execution Map UI
Assist in the transition from multiple standalone JECS applications to a unified, distributed-access platform
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including Technical Control, White Cells, Adjudication Cells, and Response Cells
Conduct code development, debugging, unit testing, and version control under Agile or hybrid development methodologies
Perform software documentation and contribute to design reviews, sprint planning, and technical reporting
Support troubleshooting and event control activities during live JLVC exercises
Participate in the development and enhancement of hybrid architectures interfacing with JMECS for C4I System stimulation
Learn and apply federation technologies including HLA (High Level Architecture) and support M&S integration
Qualification
Required
0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience
An active Secret security clearance is required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to learn and operate in a dynamic, mission-driven environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a geographically distributed team
Preferred
Experience with Java, C++, or C# development in Linux and/or Windows environments
Exposure to web development frameworks
Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with front-end interfaces
Familiarity with simulation systems, military training systems, or distributed computing is a strong plus
Knowledge of High-Level Architecture (HLA) or DIS (Distributed Interactive Simulation) standards is desirable
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams
