Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Cloud Services Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
Motivate and inspire the team to achieve project goals and exceed expectations
Resolve team conflicts and address any performance issues promptly and professionally
Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of cloud-based systems and applications
Stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies, industry best practices, and security threats
Provide technical guidance and support to team members on complex projects
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation
Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure project deliverables meet the defined requirements
Collaborate with other teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure seamless integration and smooth operations
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure project alignment
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and productivity
Develop and maintain best practices for cloud development and operations within the team
Contribute to the development and improvement of the organization's cloud strategy

Clearance Required: Secret
Flexible Hybrid Role with requirement to work onsite at customer location as required
M-F 9-5, Candidate must be flexible to work evening and weekends if required
Flexibility to work on a monthly rotation schedule required

US Citizen, Secret Clearance Required
Certifications Required: DD8750 -Security Plus or higher Security Certification (CISSP, CASP, etc)
One or more of the following: AWS Certified Solution Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solution Architect, Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect
OS Level certifications are a plus
Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree holder (technical field) with 6-8 years working experience in related fields desired
Candidates must have demonstrable experience with at least two of the following Core technology areas: Backup/Recovery: Cohesity, Zerto/VMware DRS, Operating Systems: Linux, Windows, Containerization/Orchestration: Openshift/Kubernetes (k8s), Docker/Rancher, Automation/Configuration Management: Ansible/Chef/Puppet, Virtualization: VMware, vSAN, Cloud Management/Orchestration: Morpheus, ITSM/Service Management: ServiceNow, Networking (SDN): PCE Control Plane

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree holder (technical field) with 6-8 years working experience in related fields desired
OS Level certifications are a plus
