Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of Prophet’s frontend using React, and TypeScript
Establish and maintain scalable component libraries, design systems, and development standards
Partner with product and design leaders to translate complex functionality into elegant, high-performing user interfaces
Drive frontend performance optimization, accessibility, and reliability across browsers and environments
Collaborate with backend teams to define robust, efficient APIs and data flows
Lead technical reviews, mentorship, and cross-functional engineering initiatives
Contribute to long-term product strategy and technical roadmap decisions
Advocate for frontend engineering excellence and champion the user experience throughout the product development process
Qualification
Required
Deep frontend expertise using React, Typescript, Tailwind and HTML/CSS
Proven ability to design and implement complex, performant UI architectures
Strong understanding of design systems, state management, and scalable component frameworks
Demonstrated aesthetic and product taste — with a track record of building intuitive, visually refined user interfaces
Experience mentoring engineers, leading code reviews, and setting technical standards
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with comfort operating in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment
Preferred
Bonus: experience in cybersecurity, AI/ML-driven interfaces, or real-time data visualization
