Division Head, Pediatric Allergy & Immunology
Northwestern University is seeking a Division Head for the Pediatric Allergy & Immunology at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. The Division Head will lead clinical care, research, education, and advocacy efforts while mentoring faculty and fellows, overseeing operational and philanthropic activities, and representing the division in various interactions.

Responsibilities
Leading all clinical care, research endeavors, educational efforts, advocacy and administrative aspects of the Division’s work
Setting and executing upon the division’s strategic goals in the clinical, research, education and advocacy domains
Supporting division members’ career growth and development through mentorship
Acting as the representative in interactions with Department leadership, hospital administration, external groups and philanthropic donors
Overseeing divisional operational, philanthropic and grant funding in partnership with the Division Administrator
Qualification
Required
MD or MD/PhD
Board-certification in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology
Fellowship training in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology
Demonstrated leadership in clinical care
Development of research
Strong clinical expertise
Proven track record of research within the field of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology
Experience in an academic medical center setting
Interest in faculty and fellow mentorship
Preferred
Experience in oversight of divisional operational, philanthropic and grant funding
Experience in interactions with Department leadership, hospital administration, external groups and philanthropic donors
