They are seeking a Quality Engineer to create, implement, maintain, and monitor quality plans related to manufacturing processes for aerospace components.

Responsibilities

Develop/implement/improve manufacturing process quality plans

Create process documentation (CA&V, ICP, PFMEA)

Review/disposition of non-conformance and facilitate root cause review/assignment

Monitor Process quality metrics and initiate improvement plans

Implement corrective actions and monitor sustainment

Monitor process capabilities and raise issues for awareness

Interface with suppliers to develop/troubleshoot specials processes issues

Review drawings/specification changes

Interface directly with customers to alleviate quality issues

Monitor/develop plans to alleviate MRB/Slow moving WIP

Present process metrics utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint

Develop/Maintain expert knowledge of customer specifications and requirements

Develop and train customer/part specific procedures for quality, technical and operational staff

Submit/introduce FPA/DAR plans/changes

Provide technical leadership to team members

Other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Manager or Director

Required

3-5 years quality engineering experience preferably in aerospace machining

Good understanding of GD&T

Strong understanding of inspection methods preferably on high precision aerospace components
