Responsibilities

Build and manage IT infrastructure for remote employees and office hubs across the US, Canada, and Barcelona, including device provisioning, network security, and cloud-based systems

Establish IT policies and security protocols covering data privacy, access controls, GDPR compliance, and incident response

Own vendor relationships and technology procurement, negotiating contracts and managing partnerships for hardware, software, and IT services

Provide technical support to global employees, troubleshoot issues across time zones, and create self-service documentation for common problems

Lead cybersecurity initiatives including endpoint protection, identity management, security training, and compliance readiness for SOC 2 or ISO 27001

Required

3-5+ years in IT management or systems administration, with experience supporting distributed or multi-location teams

Experience with Google Workspace is required

Expertise with enterprise tools like Okta/Azure AD and MDM platforms

Strong knowledge of information security, compliance requirements (GDPR, SOC 2), and data protection best practices

Experience building IT operations at early-stage startups or scaling IT from the ground up

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across time zones with remote-first teams

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience; relevant certifications (CISSP, CompTIA Security+, AWS) a plus
