Responsibilities
Support commodities related to Energy (Gas/Electricity/Solar) Acquisition, Data Center Design / Construction, General Purpose Building Construction, Acquisition and Maintenance of Facility Capital Equipment, Global Physical Security Services, and other Facility Services commodities
Complete merger and acquisition related activities related to their service commodity areas
Manage multiple priorities and excel in the high-paced Oracle culture
Conduct extensive, high value contract negotiations
Perform supplier management functions
Initiate regional and global sourcing initiatives
Enforce policies and procedures
Effect change management across Oracle
Review and interpret legal documents
Utilize effective negotiation skills and project management experience
Analyze global spend trends
Recommend cost saving opportunities
Support stakeholders and identify, propose and initiate implementation of process efficiencies/improvements
Qualification
Required
6 to 10+ years of experience in Facilities Procurement or related field
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Knowledge of service commodities related to Energy (Gas/Electricity/Solar) Acquisition, Data Center Design / Construction, General Purpose Building Construction, Acquisition and Maintenance of Facility Capital Equipment, Global Physical Security Services, and other Facility Services commodities
Experience in extensive, high value contract negotiations
Supplier management functions experience
Regional and global sourcing initiatives experience
Ability to review and interpret legal documents
Effective negotiation skills
Project management experience
Technical skills, preferably well-versed in Excel and PowerPoint
Strong critical thinking skills
Highly-cultivated interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with regional teams, cross functional groups, lines of business and suppliers
Ability to analyze global spend trends
Ability to recommend cost saving opportunities
Ability to support stakeholders and identify, propose and initiate implementation of process efficiencies/improvements
