Rescue Mission is a mission-driven organization committed to providing food, shelter, clothing, and support services since 1887. They are seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Clothing Sorter-III (Team Lead) to assist in maintaining production and quality standards through effective team management and leadership.

Responsibilities

Partners with the Production Supervisor for the development of staff through daily direction, delegating, training, coaching & counseling
Oversees and participates in day-to-day operations, including sorting clothing and hard goods donations
Meets set quotas for the department while maintaining quality standards
Assists with the management of employee relations
Maintains, records, and monitors accurate production and quality metrics for employees
Oversee the proper supply and storage of inventory
Communicates pertinent information to the Production Supervisor to keep him/her appraised of important issues
Promotes a safety-first attitude by setting a positive example and ensuring all employees are following safety policies and procedures
Regular and predictable in-person attendance is an essential requirement for the job

Required

Available to work day shift Sunday through Thursday, occasional overtime and some holidays
1-3 years' experience in a production warehouse or retail setting
Effective leadership skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Expertise in clothing categorization and brands
Knowledge of production operations
Lifting 30 pounds, bending and standing for long hours
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
Regular and predictable in-person attendance is an essential requirement for the job

Preferred

High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
Prior leadership experience preferred
Passion for the Mission & Vision of the organization
