Responsibilities
Lifts workpiece manually or uses hoist to secure workpiece in fixture or loads automatic feeding device
Starts machine, engages feed, transfers or sprays application and observes operation
Inspects and measures product to verify conformance to specifications
Inspects and measures paint to verify conformance to specifications
Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine
Adds coolant to machine reservoir and turns valve to start flow of coolant
Programs Robot Pathways
Programs Robot Application Controls
Performs routine preventative maintenance on robots
Provides immediate corrective action to robot faults
Performs routine preventative maintenance on paint booths
Engages equipment and observes spray applications
Demonstrates responsibility for safety, quality and production
Maintains all required records
Responsible for proper collection, disposal and management of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes
Has general awareness and knowledge of Quality Polish (TS16949) and Environmental Standards (ISO 14001) and how they affect the department
Trained on department work instructions and easily identifies location of work instructions in department
Keeps work area clean and organized
All other duties as assigned
