Responsibilities
Design scalable, secure, cost-effective solutions
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Develop, test, and deploy high quality software applications according to project requirements
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Write Unit tests, load tests and build robust pipelines
Build Alerts and monitors to improve observability
Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Developers to understand and implement business requirements
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team practices and standards
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions
Take ownership of your work and show initiative
Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends
Contribute to improving development processes, workflows, and team productivity
Strive to improve automation and leverage available AI Tools to enhance productivity
Suggest innovative ideas to enhance system performance and user experience
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
4+ years of experience of relevant software development
Experience building enterprise responsive web apps using Preact / React framework
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Working knowledge of AWS Services like Lambdas, S3, EKS, CloudFront etc
Some experience with API development in Node, Go, Python or other languages
Experience using monitoring tools like Datadog or New Relic
Working knowledge of GraphQL APIs and platforms like Apollo or Hasura
Experience with version control systems, automated testing, and CI / CD
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred
Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus
