They are seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Music Technology to teach courses, coordinate the Music Technology minor, and advise students, while also contributing to scholarship and curriculum development.

Responsibilities
Coordinate the Music Technology minor and advise students in the minor
Teach required courses including Electronic Music and Interactive Music Programming
Develop new courses based on expertise and expand the Music Technology minor into a major
Help students navigate the professional landscape and pursue internship and career opportunities
Qualification
Required
A PhD in Music Technology or a related field at time of appointment. (ABDs will be considered only if the degree will be completed prior to the start date)
College-level teaching experience in Music Technology
A record of relevant scholarly research, professional and/or creative activity
Preferred
Demonstrate excellent teaching skills in the context of an undergraduate curriculum, where students' skills are introductory
Have experience developing curricula and administering academic programs
Be positioned to help students navigate the professional landscape, and pursue internship and career opportunities in the region (New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania)
